SGP is an information system for the management of forecasts for the Energetic Planning Subdirection of the Spanish electrical utility Endesa, developped during the year 2001 . The system has a client-server architecture based on an Oracle database server. Client applications include a system for gathering and exchanging information among the different business areas, a scenario configuration module for selecting the information to be used in the forecasting process, and the main forecasting module. The objective of this new colaboration is to finish and to put in operation the forcasting module developed during 2001, and the specification and development of the analysis modules to study forecast sensibilities and minimize its risks.
